The lemon shrub (Aloysia citrodora), also lemon fragrance shrub, lemon verbena or fragrant verbena is a species of the verbena family (Verbenaceae). The lemon bush grows as a perennial deciduous shrub. Actually native to South America, lemon verbena now also grows in the Mediterranean and North Africa. Sie reaches heights of growth of up to 2 meters in Europe’s temperate climates.

In France, verbena tea is a national drink – comparable to peppermint tea in Germany.

Mixes well with: Mint, Neroli , Lemongrass , Palmarosa, tolu, all citrus oils

Use: In the fragrance lamp, nebulizer, in the fragrance fountain, as a fresh note in natural perfumes and baths, in sports massage oils.
