Ylang-Ylang is an annon family ( Cananga odorata ) and growing very quickly. Actual home is Indonesia and the Philippines – today also Madagascar, Haiti, Reunion, Sumatra and the Comoros, where ylang-ylang is cultivated. In its natural environment, the ylang-ylang tree, as an evergreen tree 10-30 m high, is pruned to a height of 2-3 m during cultivation. Ylang-ylang is made completely organic from the flowers.

Distillation produces two types of essential oil. After about two hours you get the essential oil Ylang-Ylang extra, a pure floral scent, sweet and exotic. Very popular in perfume production because of the increased ESTER content. Ylang-Ylang extra is, for example, a basic fragrance for the world-famous “ Chanel No. 5 “.

After about 20 hours you get Ylang-Ylang -completely organic as an essential oil with all the extracts of the plant.

Ylang-Ylang can be combined very well with Jasmine oil , Coriander oil, lime, Clary sage , Neroli oil, orange oil, oud, patchouli, etc.
