Rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora) is an evergreen tree that grows mainly in the Amazon basin. The tree belongs to the laurel family (Lauraceae) and reaches heights of up to 30 meters and diameters of 2 meters. Rosewood is subject to the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. Rosewood is an Amazonian tree.
