The tangerine ( Citrus reticulata ) is a small evergreen tree. Originally at home in southern China, since 1805 in Europe too. Cultivated in China for several thousand years. Today it is grown in the Mediterranean, Brazil and the USA. Plant family: Route plants (Rutaceae) Origin: In the Mediterranean and South America. From the ripe mandarins you get the mandarine red organic, which helps a little more with cellulite. The green mandarin oil is obtained from the unripe fruits. The difference is in the scent.
