Juniper Berry Organic Essential Oil

The juniper becomes the Cypress family (Cupressaceae) and has about 50-70 subspecies. But only two of them grow freely in Central Europe. It is an evergreen shrub / tree whose wood often smells aromatic. The distribution area extends over the entire northern hemisphere. Because of its lower monoterpene content, the juniper berry oil is somewhat more tolerable than that obtained from branches. This Juniper Berry Organic Essential Oil is made from the fruits of the common juniper(Juniperus communis).

The Common juniper ( Juniperus communis ), also Heather juniper (Common names: almond tree, Kranewittbaum, Reckholder, incense tree, fire tree). The common juniper grows as an upright to creeping shrub or small tree that reaches heights of up to 6 meters and can live for up to 600 years.

You can still achieve this effect with juniper oil today if you put it in a fragrance lamp or diffuser. The room air is cleaned of harmful germs and pathogens and the immune system is strengthened. The use of a scented lamp with juniper berry oil is particularly recommended during the winter cold season. In the summer months you can also use the fragrance lamp if you mix the juniper oil with lavender, eucalyptus or Z Mix itrus oils, then not only will you be in a good mood, it will also drive away annoying insects.

RECIPE for neurodermatitis / rash

In the case of neurodermatitis, inflammatory skin diseases occur again and again and must be treated continuously. If you suffer from neurodermatitis, it is advisable to always have the right rub on hand quickly so that you can react immediately to the first itching. A mixture of hemp and wild rose oil is recommended as a carrier oil. The Hemp oil has the same anti-inflammatory effect as wild rose oil and also penetrates particularly deep into the skin. Due to the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids it contains, the flaky and itchy areas of the skin are particularly well cared for.

• 15 ml of wild rose oil
• 15 ml of hemp oil
• 4 drops of rose geranium essential oil
• 6 drops juniper berry oil

Pour the mixture into a small glass pipette bottle and shake it vigorously. With the pipette, you can apply the rub to the skin in a well-dosed manner, without any contamination.
