The almond tree (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) and belongs to the rose family. It is between 2 and 8 m high and is a deciduous tree. We differentiate between two types 1: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis being dulcis ; refers to the sweet core. 2. Prunus amygdalus Var. amara – bitter almonds from Latin amarus ; bitter. The Bitter almond is poisonous even in small quantities. The tree is around 70–80 years old, but can be up to 150 years old. The almond tree probably comes from South Asia; it grows at heights of 700 to 1700 m. Today’s growing areas include the USA, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Iran. Primavera organic almond oil comes from Spain.
Organic almond oil is the care oil for the whole family; also suitable for baby care. It is absorbed particularly deeply into the top layer of the skin and preserves the natural moisture of the skin.
Pure nourishes and strengthens sensitive, dry, flaky skin and is suitable for all skin types. In aromatherapy, it’s a popular base for blending with essential oils.
The effectiveness of PRIMAVERA organic almond oil was verified in an independent study in 2016 with 20 women between the ages of 24 and 56. The result showed a reduction in reddening of the skin by over 60% and an increase in skin moisture by over 30%.
