Winter Green Organic Essential Oil<\/h2>\n

Winter green : The sham berries<\/b> (Gaultheria<\/i>), also called partridge berries,<\/b> are a genus of plants in the family Ericaceae. Heidekrautgew\u00e4chse<\/a> Gaultheria<\/i>species usually grow as evergreen shrubs or semi-shrubs, which reach heights of less than 10 cm to 2.5 m. An exception is the Gaultheria fragrantissima<\/i>, which originates from the Himalayas and can reach heights of 5 to 6 m as a small tree. <\/span><\/h2>\n

There are about 35 species. “Ours” Winter green Gaultheria fragrantissima<\/em> grows in Nepal and grows about 15-20cm high. The color of the flowers ranges from white to light pink. The herb produces deep red berries, which exude an intense sweet scent when crushed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The extraction of 1l oil requires about 900 kg of plant material. <\/span><\/p>\n

It can be mixed well with frankincense<\/a> for fragrancing.<\/span><\/p>\n
