Neroli essential oil BIO<\/h2>\n

The Bitter Orange Tree: Botanical name: citrus aurantium ssp. Aurantium. Plant family: rue family (rutaceae) The bitter orange grows as an evergreen tree<\/a> up to ten meters tall with a round crown. and has white flowers. Neroli essential oil BIO is produced from these flowers. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The leaves contain oil glands, the smell of the oil (Petitgrain<\/a>) is perceived as pleasant. The white flowers also smell strong.<\/p>\n

Traditionally attributed to Sicily (Neroli is said to have received his name from the Sicilian princess Nerola,<\/i> who loved this fragrance very much). According to another story, the name is said to come from the Roman princess of Nerola, in the 17th century. At that time, this fragrance was obtained from the fresh flowers of the bitter orange trees by distillation or as scented water.
