Linden blossom abs. Essential oil is extracted from the blossoms of the winter lime tree. The winter lime tree – also known as Tilia cordata<\/span> (Latin for “heart-leaved lime tree”) – is a plant species from the lime tree<\/a> genus(Tilia<\/span>) in the lime subfamily(Tilioideae<\/span>) within the mallow family(Malvaceae<\/span>). The Small-leaved lime was the tree of the year<\/a> 2016 in Germany. The Small-leaved lime is a deciduous deciduous tree that can reach heights of up to 40 meters and will be up to 1000 years old. Winter lime is widely used in Europe. However, its area extends beyond Europe to the Caucasus and west Siberia. It is mainly found in the low mountains, in the northern lowlands it is rarer.<\/p>\n The absolute oil is relatively viscous to solid and smells pleasantly of flowers – soft and floral – but unfortunately does not have the typical lime blossom scent that distinguishes it from other floral fragrances. Mix a hazelnut-sized piece of shea butter jojoba balm with 5 drops of lime blossom, apply thinly on the pulse points – the individual, harmoniously warm perfume is ready. Due to its different fragrance nuances, lime blossom can very well become a perfume on its own!<\/p>\n Linden blossom mixes well with other flower oils, citrus notes, ZB orange<\/a> and soft wood notes like Cedar.<\/a><\/p>\n In the fragrance lamp, it is recommended to combine lime blossom abs. essential oil diluted with another oil, as it is a little too light for room fragrancing on its own. <\/p>\n Our recommendation: In order to preserve the quality of our oils as well as possible, even on a subtle level, we use particularly high-quality violet glass bottles. The cardboard boxes provide additional protection.<\/p>\n We are obliged to state a best before date, but most oils have a much longer shelf life and even improve in their fragrance bouquet.
