Description

Macadamia nut oil bio

The macadamia nut tree (Macadamia Ternifolia) belongs to the silver tree family and is up to 15m high. The macadamia nut originally comes from the rainforests of Australia. Here the Aborigines have already used the nuts as a source of food. Today the tree is also at home in New Zealand, Africa, Israel, Brazil and California. Primavera organic macadamia nut oil comes from Kenya.

The oil smoothes the skin and protects it from moisture loss. Particularly good as a massage oil for sensitive, sensitive and small children’s skin.

Key plant & effect:

  • Is particularly well tolerated by the skin because of its skin-related fatty acids.
  • Its high proportion of palmitoleic acid protects the skin from harmful free radicals.
  • Strengthens the protective barrier and regenerative capacity of the skin and tightens it.

Skin type: Suitable for all skin types. Particularly effective on dry and mature skin.

Application: Massage into damp skin after washing.

A bit more:

It is because of the healthy fatty acids that are found in this oil that this oil is so healthy. Ingested through food, the body is adequately supplied with it. The human body cannot produce these fatty acids itself and so has to be supplied with them through food. The ingredients work against high blood pressure, prevent cholesterol and the coronary arteries from expanding. In addition, the polyunsaturated fatty acids have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. The vitamins protect the cells and promote the metabolism. Calcium and phosphorus build and maintain the bones.

HAIR: Here macadamia oil is added to shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments. However, this oil can also simply be applied neat to dry and brittle hair. The success is directly visible, because the hair regains its natural shine and bounce. This also applies to split ends, which can be avoided in this way. Often this is a result of hair that is too dry. Since the oil is absorbed very quickly, it can be applied neat. Another advantage is that the hair is not weighed down.

SKIN: For the skin, macadamia oil is offered in many products, as it takes particularly good care of the skin thanks to its vitamins. Especially with dry and rough skin that often still has cracks. Here the oil prevents inflammation that can occur through the cracked skin.

KITCHEN: Here the oil can be used for salads, dressings, marinades, soups, smoothies and desserts. These are just a few examples of where macadamia oil can be used in the kitchen. Since it can withstand intense heat and still retains all of its ingredients, it can also be used for roasting. It does not matter whether the oil is enjoyed cold or heated. However, because of its high fatty acid content, macadamia oil is better suited for cold consumption. The slightly nutty taste gives the dishes a very special taste.

Due to the high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, the oil can spoil quickly. For this reason, natural vitamin E is added to the oil. In this way, all ingredients are retained and the oil is durable.
