Lemon Essential Oil organic

The lemon comes from ancient China, where it was already produced in the tenth century BC. Was cultivated. From there it reached Persia and was brought to Greece by Alexander the Great. The lemon spread in the Arab countries and with the crusaders it came to us in Europe.

The lemon became particularly popular in Europe when it became clear that the vitamins it contained could help against scurvy, one of the most terrible diseases of the Middle Ages, especially among seafarers.

The slightly tart and clear scent of the lemon has a refreshing, invigorating and uplifting effect on depression and energylessness. Cheerful and conveys clarity. Ideal for travel for air refreshment of hotel rooms, cars etc. For concentrated work. Good for skin care, keeps the tissue young. Like all citrus oils, the organic lemon stimulates communication and loosens the tongue.

The evergreen trees produce elongated oval fruits (lemons) with yellow or green-yellow peel and become about 4m high. Originally native to South China. Today cultivated in the Mediterranean region, Asia, Central and South America.
