Rosen Attar

A unique fragrance, very elaborate – Rosen Attar – with all the properties of the Damascus rose.

The name rose can be traced back via the Latin pink to the Greek rhodon (rhododendron = rose tree). The following procedure is common for the extraction of rose oil: Steam distillation is normal for Damascus rose ( Rosa damascena). Another production is based on an old Indian tradition in which the rose petals are distilled on sandalwood using a portable still. This is how the Rosen Attar comes into being. The term Attar is an old Persian word and goes back to the Arabic “Itr”, which means “heavenly scent”.
